Hexagonal titanium rod is a kind of solid metal bar with a hexagonal cross section. The rods are made of titanium or titanium alloy.
Titanium grade generally used is TA2 and TC4.
TA2 belongs to commercial pure titanium. Its main component is titanium. The left small contents are Fe, C,N,O,H. It possesses the good performance of corrosion resistance and comprehensive mechanical properties, which is usually applied in electroplating industry, metal pickling processing of hangers, and the industries of paper pulp, chemical fertilizer, chlorine, electrochemistry and desalination.
TC4 is α+βtype high strength titanium alloy. For its elements, except for main component of titanium and small content of Fe, C,N,O,H, it contains Al 5.5%-6.8%, V 3.5%-4.55 especially. It has the performance of high strength and corrosion resistance, which is often used in aerospace and other fields in need of high strength material.
