What are the types of the coated titanium anodes?

Oxygen-resistant electrode, mainly used in oxygen release reaction, especially suitable for acidic electrolyte, such as a certain concentration of sulfuric acid electrolyte. It has ultra low oxygen. So it can be used in oxygen release electrolysis and oxygen and chlorine release electrolysis as well, such as seawater electrolysis, etc. It is such good electrode material for oxygen release reaction in acid medium.
The coated electrode has been applied to organic electrolysis, such as cysteine, glyoxylic acid, succinic acid, etc.It can be used for the indirect oxidation of organic electrolysis of Cr3++→Cr6+ electrolysis. It is used in wastewater treatment to oxidize the conversion of organic matter and toxic substances such as CN - in water. It can also be used as an auxiliary electrode in the electroplating industry, such as the auxiliary anode of Cr plating, the auxiliary anode of electrolytic copper, the auxiliary anode of electrolytic zinc, and the auxiliary anode of cathodic protection.
- This type of coated electrode is used for the electrolyte containing high hydroxide which is oxygen corrosion resistance and is suitable for ion membrane electrolysis.
- Characters of coating layer:
- Discharge voltage is 1.18 volts at 4000A/m2 current density (S.C.E).
- Accelerated life is 1.02mv/4h·cm2. The service life is more than 5 years. It has been used in the industrial large electric tank.
- Characters of coating layer:
- The chlorine evolution potential is low and the overpotential is small. The discharge potential of chlorine gas is not more than 1.12V at the current density of 2000A/m2. The overpotential is less than 20mv.
- Polarizability is less than 30mv/10 unit current density.
- Long accelerated life 0.5N H2SO4, 1A/cm2 ampere density. The service life is more than 1500min.
- The above three indicators are better than the industry regulation indicators. This type of coating has been widely used in the chlor-alkali industry, and the actual service life can reach 8 years.
- The base metal: Gr1,Gr2,TA1, TA2
- Operating current range: <2000A/m2
- Temperature range: <80℃
- Coating metal: Pt(99.99%)
- Shape: plate, tube etc.
- Technical features: insoluble anode. The platinum coating is firmly bound to the titanium base substrate. Its use performance is stable. It can replace pure gold and pure platinum anode, using in gold or other precious metal plating tank.
- Surface roughness: no standard, the rougher the better
- Flatness of plate - mesh anode surface:
≤±0.5mm/M (thickness more than 1.5)
≥±1.0mm/M (thickness less than 1.0)
- Straightness of tubular anode:
±0.5mm/M(pipe thickness more than 1.5mm)
±1.0mm/M (pipe thickness less than 1.5mm)
- Cutting material tolerance of the plate: min.±0.1mm, generally less than ±0.5mm
