Raw Materials and Product Applications

1. Raw Materials: Titanium and titanium alloy wire blanks, including but not limited to industrial pure titanium, Ti-15Mo alloy, Ti-15Ta alloy, Ti-3Al, Ti-6Al-4V, and other compositions. These raw materials are provided in coils or single strands.

2. Product Applications:

Iodine Titanium Wire: Used in high-end fields such as precision instruments and electronic components.

Ti-15Mo Alloy Wire: As the suction material for vacuum titanium ion pumps, it plays a key role in the vacuum technology field.

Ti-15Ta Alloy Wire: An important suction material in the vacuum industry.

Industrial Pure Titanium and Other Titanium Alloys Wire: Widely used in corrosion-resistant parts, electrode materials, welding materials and other fields. Some high-strength titanium alloys such as TB2 and TB3 are specifically used in the aerospace industry.

Key technical parameters

1. Heating regime and final rolling temperature:

β-type titanium alloy: The pre-rolling heating temperature should be slightly lower than the (α+β)/β phase transformation temperature to ensure that the rolling process is completed in the α+β phase region.

α-type titanium alloy: Heating treatment is carried out in the α+β phase region.

α+β-type titanium alloy: The heating temperature is higher than the β transformation temperature to ensure that the material is fully softened and easy to roll. The heating time is calculated based on the material thickness, usually at 1-1.5mm/min.

2. Rolling speed: Given the large production demand for titanium and titanium alloy rolled profiles and the need to maintain a certain length for the products, the rolling speed is generally controlled at 1-3m/s to avoid quality problems caused by excessive speed.

3. Roller hole design: According to the deformation resistance, widening value, and elongation of the titanium alloy, suitable roller holes are selected or designed. For titanium alloy profiles produced in large quantities, titanium alloy-specific roller holes can be specially designed to optimize the rolling efficiency and product quality.
