ASTM F67 is the international specification for unalloyed pure titanium for surgical implant applications. Baoji Yibaite New Materials supplies ASTM F67 medical pure titanium bars (Gr1, Gr2, Gr3, Gr4) for manufacturing long-term human implant devices.
Our medical titanium bars are produced under full implant-grade control from melting, forging, rolling to precision grinding, separated from industrial titanium production. Widely used as blanks for dental implants, maxillofacial reconstruction, low-load orthopedic fixation, minimally invasive surgical components, pacemaker housings, and other implantable medical devices. We support prototype sampling and mass production with full material traceability.

Excellent Biocompatibility & Osseointegration

 

Free from allergenic/toxic elements such as Ni, Cr, Co. A stable passive TiO₂ film forms spontaneously on the surface, low cytotoxicity and minimal immune response for long-term implantation.

 

Superior Corrosion Resistance in Body Fluid

 

Chemically inert in blood, interstitial fluid and saliva, resisting ion dissolution and corrosion for long-term in-vivo service.

 

Light Weight & Balanced Mechanical Performance

 

Density 4.51 g/cm³, much lighter than stainless steel. Elastic modulus closer to human bone to reduce stress shielding. Grades from Gr1 to Gr4 provide graded strength & ductility for different implant designs.

 

Non-magnetic, MRI/CT Compatible

 

Non-magnetic property, no imaging artifacts during MRI and CT scanning for post-operation diagnosis.

 

Good Machinability

 

Uniform annealed microstructure, suitable for turning, milling, bending, polishing and CAD/CAM dental machining. Low tendency to form microcracks after processing.

 

Sterilization Compatibility

 

Stable after autoclave, gamma radiation and ETO sterilization.

Q: What is the difference between ASTM F67 pure titanium bar and industrial pure titanium bar?

A: ASTM F67 is specially formulated for surgical implants, with strict limits on impurities, metallurgy, hydrogen content and batch traceability. Industrial pure titanium cannot be used for human implantation and will cause compliance risks in medical registration.

Q: How to select Gr1 / Gr2 / Gr3 / Gr4?

A: Gr1 has highest ductility for complex bending. Gr2 is the most widely used grade for dental and maxillofacial implants. Gr3 & Gr4 have higher tensile strength for small high-load fixation implants. Contact us for grade recommendation.

Q: Can I get samples and full test certificates?
